Surrounded By Sound - The Doors in 5.1

Odeon Richmond's Surrounded by Sound presents The Doors in 5.1.

The Doors self-titled debut album released in 1967 contained

the No 1 hit ‘Light My Fire’ and the epic ‘The End’.

The album was re-mixed for 5.1 by original producer Bruce Botnick in 2006 for

inclusion in the ‘Perception’ box set and includes bonus tracks and video footage.

L.A. Woman was the sixth Doors album and the last to feature

Jim Morrison who died three months after its release.

Released in April 1971 and featuring the classics ’Love Her Madly’ and

‘Riders on The Storm’ the album peaked at No. 9 on the US charts.

L.A. Woman was remixed for DVD-A 5.1 in 2000 and again

in 2006 by Bruce Botnick for the ‘Perception’ box set.

This later version also includes bonus tracks and video content.
